Excavation works

Trenches for utility networks, foundation pits, topsoil stripping and precision digging next to existing utilities.

Excavation works FIG. 01
Short answer

We carry out mechanised excavation with our own excavator and crew: trenches for pipes and cables, foundation pits, topsoil stripping and pits for manholes. We work to the setting-out from the design or on site, take care around existing utilities and can also haul the excavated soil away.

When you need mechanised excavation

Excavation is the first stage of almost every utility or building job: water and sewer connections, district heating networks, house foundations, tanks, septic systems or drainage. With an excavator, a trench that would take days by hand is dug in a few hours, with straight walls and a controlled depth.

How we work

  • We locate existing utilities — we request the plans from the network owners or probe by hand before the machine goes in.
  • We set out and dig to level — following the width and depth in the design, with a fall where needed.
  • We shore the trench walls at greater depths or in unstable ground, to keep the crew safe.
  • We manage the spoil — stockpiled beside the trench for backfill, or loaded and hauled away.

What we need for a quote

The location, approximate length and depth of the excavation, the type of ground (if known), access for the machine and whether the soil stays on site or has to be removed. A few photos sent on WhatsApp help us estimate quickly.

04FAQ

Questions about this service

What needs to be ready before excavation?
Access for the machine, somewhere to stockpile the soil (or the decision to haul it away) and, ideally, plans of the existing utilities in the area. If you have no plans, we probe by hand before digging with the excavator.
Can you dig next to existing cables and pipes?
Yes, carefully: we locate the utilities, dig by hand around them and use the excavator only where it is safe. Work near utilities follows the conditions set by their owners.
